With new technology continuously surfacing, more and more jobs are being taken over by machines of some sort. In the case of managers, if they don’t stay one step ahead of the game, the same may happen to them.

changing life through management…..
Depends what you plan to do with it. The top b-schools require a high GMAT and 3-5yrs of good work experience. Also, what do you plan to specialize in w/ your MBA i.e. finance, mgmt, marketing, etc…
In general, find what you are really passionate about and leverage off what you’ve done at work & undergrad with that MBA.
Good Luck.

I am looking at Buying a condo. However the management is bad. So bad that people are cutting down their asking price way below market value. How long can it take for management to get it act together or change key people?
Is the management company bad, or is the board of directors bad? Either can be changed quickly by the owners if they care about their condos.

I got a phone call from the hostess telling me I wouldn’t be needed at my usual start time. When I came in, an hour later than usual, another waiter had some large and lucrative parties that would have been mine. Even if these parties requested him, can he take my shift away?
He is the one who told the hostess to call me. He doesn’t make the schedule, but can he alter the schedule in order to profit himself?
that would be up to the owner or manager of the restaurant, there is no law that guarantees anyone a job much less hours or shifts.

Thatcham Town Reserves are under new management for their trip to Chalfont Wasps on Bank Holiday Tuesday.http://www.hellenicleague.co.uk/club_news/thatcham.html Are you excited by this new management change ?
FQ1 Who you want to kiss under the mistletoe ?
On second thoughts it may be better if you didn’t answer that, because I dread to think what answers you may give
Are they in the same league as Leicester?

What are some interesting jobs in the business management field? Salary not a big concern
Jobs in like traveling, entertainment, exciting aspects, etc.
I know there is more out there then just a being a manager at Walmart, McDonald, etc. I have my sights to eventually run my own business back in my hometown. So this does not concern any future of mine.
A Business Management Degree is a great degree to have, as it is very versatile and can work with many types of jobs and industries.
Many people with Business Management degrees get jobs like:

Hiring managers don’t like to hire project managers without project management experience. How do you get project management experience without being in the official position of Project Manager?
Would you suggest maximizing opportunities, taking a leadership role, and doing what you can to "manage the project?"
usually that kind of thing is on the job training. you have to be hired in at a lower position & you work your way up to project manager then at that point you have the experience you need to move on to other companies.
the community colleges in my area also work w/ the businesses in our area & they offer certificate courses in Project Management & Logistics Management. You may want to explore that option if you’re looking to move up in your career.

I am a business management major (I have a knack for planning, leading, and organizing, and I love being the boss!) but I am quit interested in film. I took a class in high school the focused on film-making and editing, and I loved it. I have a vision…I would love to direct, but how can I guide myself into the industry being a management major?
You probably handle money for players. Invest money, pay their bills for them. Coordinate their schedules
