I suppose this part should be called “How NOT to Convert a Meat-Eater”
NOTE TO VEGANS—
Whenever I make a video on this subject, a TON of vegans come out of the woodwork and act morally indignant. That’s fine. Just keep in mind that your moral indignation will not convince me to change my diet. The vegans/vegetarians who are willing to have a civil conversation do a much better job.

The first thing sex was evolved for was procreation- everything else associated with sex was evolved to convince us we like to do it. Sex’s biological purpose is procreation. In 99% of cases of pregnancy it is not forced on her, she accepted and participated in the sex willingly.

plants are definitely living.. but the diffrence is in the amount of suffering you are inflicting on the other life for you enjoyment..

We do not think of …
We do not think of cats or dogs as food. just coz in US we see them as pets. It is still an animal but still ppl treat it like its a member of the family. So why the partiality with cows or pigs or chicken..just coz they are not as cute??

That is the point …
That is the point that it does not even know that a struggle is happening. It automatically happens. The plant does not have to put effort in it .
We are definitely taking a life and we do each and every day just by breating . kill millions of micro organisms which also have life. But it is beyond our control. But we can atleast try what is in our control.

the person decides to have sex, not have a child. The child is being forced on her.
That is beside the point. I do not have any strong opinions about abortion.. It is the individuals choice as it is her body that is beign affected. but it is diffrent from killing an animal coz we have no right over it. Just because we are more powerful we decide we have the right to live and they dont.

That person’s body …
That person’s body participated in placing the child into her body, both by automatically and physically producing eggs to be fertilized and most of the time by choosing to have sex. The first choice involved in a pregnancy is the choice to have sex- so essentially for some people they have determined it is worthwhile to kill a child in their body so they can have sex.

They use the same equivocations we may use to eat meat too. Don’t try to convince a vegan that a plant is a living thing, some consider them no different from rocks or dirt.

A plant’s genetics …
A plant’s genetics have determined that it will do all in its ability for it to live. True it has no choice in the matter and does not feel a struggle but that doesn’t mean a struggle isn’t happening. Haphazardly reach into a rose bush and you will feel evidence of that struggle.

say you are walking in a park and like a flower and pluck it and put it in a vase at home. next day you go for a walk and find a cute cat or dog. would you say oh. how cute and chop of its head and take it with you? I would not.. That is where I would draw the line. what stops one from causing pain to the animal, but being indiffernt towards the plant.
